Would you like to see AI subs on map?

Now, that UBI has announced the presens of AI subs in the sim, I think the next question is, are we gonna see AI sub's position (and course maybe) on map? As UBI has told us, the player won't be able to give any orders to AI units (which would have been somewhat unrealistic anyway), but only send a repeated contact messages and then hope pack to attack. But if the player can't "see" where the AI units are exactly, he probably won't know if those units are reacting to his contact messages. So, even if I hate GPS maps in the WWII subsim at least to some degree, I'm a bit concerned about the player's tactical awareness. I think without a "link" between the subs the player will be even less informed about the situation than his real life counterparts were over 70 years ago. So I hope friendly AI units will be shown on map just like in the SH IV U-boat-Addon.

How about this: The player can only put other u-boats on the map if they broadcast their positions. Of course, this means they are broadcasting their positions to the British as well.:dead:

I almost modded this for RSRDC-wish I had actually, even tho SH3 subs only attack with their deck guns.

like SS said, you wouldnt know where they are to put them on the map anyway but if in range i think it would be good to see them detected when they are on the surface.

@ difool2 - unless something changed the AI subs will now shoot torpedos but i hope they still will use deck guns when needed too
