User Name Change
 

I do not want to change identity, only to change spelling from
Shipsrus TO Ships-R-Us

Shipsrus reminds me of the Greek eatery in Boston, and I have always been about Ships, similar to Toys-R-Us.

Why would anyone want to change their ID, hell you'd have to start all over and build the same reputation.

I can not seem to find the option anywhere. Help?......

As users we do not have the ability to change our nicks, even if it is just a matter of capitalization.

I am not sure whether the admins can do it either. The only way may be to create a new nick. Which brings me to another question along these lines...

I have an old nick that I used some time ago, I have since forgotten the password and can no longer access it. I do not remember what email address was linked to it either. Long story short, it is my preferred, it belongs to me, but I cannot gain access to it. What can be done about this?

I believe it can be done by contacting a moderator...You will see them listed at the bottom of various forums.

I believe you can report your own post, they will get it NOW and voila you have it done......Ships......

Actually, I just double-checked and it turns out that the nick I thought I used to have is not even taken yet. I must have confused it with another forum.

But, I'm not sure I'd want to make the switch over anymore.

Unfortunatly the only one who can make such a change is an Administrator like Neal

Now, understand, Buddahaid, that nick did not self-delete. You saw it changed by the admins. And I...was never here.

And, I don't want to see any paperwork about it!
