#1 Favorite Game?

Looking for good new games to play. What's your...

1. Number one favorite game on your PC right this moment?
2. Number one favorite game on any platform at the moment?

I'll go first.

1. Number 1 PC Game: Dangerous Waters: Yep I know its old and with crappy graphics, but its the only modern sub sim out there at the moment which is my favorite genre.
2. Number 1 PC Game if I had the right hardware: Microsoft Flight Simulator X, but my rig is not powerful enough to run the best resolutions/graphics so it looks crappy on my machine... :(
2. Number 1 game otherwise: Madden 2010 on PS3

I think the games I played the most were the DOS "Dark Forces" and Virgin's "Zone Raiders". Of course I was new to gaming then, but I've replayed them many times.

1. Dragon Age. I have yet to complete it. I rotate between 3 characters when things get too frustrating. :)

2. Skate 2

Crack Onl..., er,... I mean Eve Online.

1. SH3 While waiting for SH5 I decided to do a full career, start to finish. Almost lost it once, limped home with half a crew and 20% hull integrity, but I made it. Still working on it.

2. Don't have any other platforms. They only have games. I only play simulations.

You realize there's a not-so-abandoned General Games Discussion forum, right?

Oh, well, I really couldn't decide what my favourite games are...Global Thermonuclear War?

Ah, you mean from the Strategic Missile Attack series?

I always come back to Fallout 3. :yep:

My number one game at the moment is Red Storm Rising for the Amiga. Of course, I do not actually own an Amiga these days; I use emulation software for this purpose, UAE to be exact.

Second on the list is Aces of the Deep. There's simply nothing like it. I run this game through DOSBox.

I run both of these games under a Linux laptop.

If I could get it to run under Linux, I may be inclined to play DW a bit more. Although there is no dynamic campaign in DW, there is a high level of detail in regards to the sonar and TMA equipment, which is at times equally fun.

I suspect he means from the movie War Games.

"Would you like to play a game?"

The only thing on my PC right now are SH3 and SH4. I have FS9, but no joystick.

My number one right now is Dangerous Waters. My number one for all time ? That's a tough one. I'm torn between Ultima Online, Half Life, City of Heroes, and many others.

Well yeah, but I couldn't come up with a reference. I see you didn't have that problem. :salute:
