Campaign question

Hi Guys, I'm in a GWX3 campaign 2nd Flotilla, Lorient, July 1944, Patrol 31 and I get a message from Bdu as follows; From; Bdu, To; U-128(thats me) "The base was changed to St Nazaire". Am I right in thinking that when I return to base I sail to St Nazaire not back to Lorient.:06: Cheers JimC.

Ya, your flotillia was reabsed so you return to St. Naz insed. If you want to dubble check things you could always save the game and reload it. On the load screen there is a breif over veiw of your mission and it should tell you where you are to return to.

My patrol orders still state return to Lorient but I think this is written at the start of the patrol and doesn't change.

Never mind the orders, just go to the new base after receiving the base change msg.

You're right - orders are written at the start of the patrol but your radio orders from BdU tell you to go to St Nazaire.

If you're unsure, sail back to near Lorient or St Naz and use the Esc key to 'return to home base'.

Thanks gents for the more than helpful info as always.
Cheers JimC:up:

If use "return to home base", how does the game calculate how many days it takes you to return? Maybe drive home yourself will be faster, let alone more realistic.

IIRC you are teleported back, which is why I suggested sailing close to home then pressing Esc.
