Not Broadway, New York, USA...

Frankfurt, Germany. :dead:

Moral of the story: when you think you have seen the top of a hype - there will be even more hype.

Maybe they knew it wasn't selling well in USA, so they'd try selling it to Germany.

Skybird 01-12-10 12:45 PM

Probably not, since they already negotiate touring in the US as well.

The article say that another Obama musical has opened in London as well.

Snestorm 01-12-10 12:52 PM

We shall see how the ticket sales go.

Schroeder 01-12-10 01:23 PM

OMG let the guy accomplish something and praise him then (and only then) FFS.:nope:
So far he hasn't done much more than repairing the shattered relations with his allies.

AVGWarhawk 01-12-10 01:38 PM

Yet another douche bag idea to make a few dollars. If any dollars. :shifty: This show will open only to close the same night on Broadway.

Obama's hero status rests just as much on the ideals his pushers carry as much as on his own acheivments.

Obama represents many different things to many differant people. To white american's who voted for him he seems to represent an end to the old guard structured system of American government. White greedy self indulging arrogant aristocrats of past presidency's finally put to bed so to speak.

To African decendants he represents acknowledgment of all of there hopes and dreams. A new America where black people can have a say on equal footing with white folks.

In the long run if he is a success or failure it will matter little, He will go down as an American first. Saviour of our generation, Smasher of Racism, and all the super powers that title endows him including the ability to avoid all the ridicule for the mistakes he has already made.

Has he? After copenhagen he is even more under fire from Europeans. And Germany also prepares to cross blades with him over Afghanistan. Relations are in now way like they have been expected to become with Obama. and it does not surprise me.

Well, thanks to President Bushwacked the US is stuck in a war on two fronts with no clear exit strategy. Obama's not responsible for the mess left behind but it doesn't make his job any easier, especially after being awarded the Nobel Peace prize which I think is premature to say the least.
