I played a lot with the weather settings, but never got it right.

Currently I have: Fog=3 FogRand=1 Clouds=2 CloudsRand=1 Precip=2 PrecipRand=1 WindHeading=0 WindSpeed=4.000000 WindRand=1 WeatherRndInterval=2 SeaType=0 :damn: |

You'd need to wait until I got home from work to check my files before I could be of any assistance.

Aside from that somebody (actually 2 persons) did extensive research on how the weather changes and what migitates it getting stuck. They produced a document to explain it. However I cannot recall their names. Maybe somebody else remembers it. |

Hi,
In an old post, which of course I can't find just right now, someone explains how these params work. Roughly, fog, clouds, precip are set from none to heavy, those are the value they get at the beginning of the mission/patrol. Then the *rand is the rate at which they change from never to extreme if my memory is right. But the most important param is WeatherRndInterval, the higher the longer. From my own experience, if set to 2, you can expect changes between 6 hours and 2 days. With basics params set to medium, rands set to extrem and the last set to 2, weather change in north sea is very relistic, a little bit too quick in north Atlantic. But, as Pisces said, reloading reset the timer, note that simple saving in game doesn't. |

The above is from a basic GWX3.0 installation. |

It was Stiebler and SubZero for the NYGM mod. There is indeed a detailed description of their work found in the readme files of the mod. |
