Absolutely new, original sound design (almost...)

This sound mod - the maximum and full sound atmosphere in the Soviet submarine (as software SH IV has allowed).

This sound project has been made because has been created mod: «Великая Война: Битва за Балтику» («Great War: Battle for Baltic»)

The author of project DAGON, which was helped by group of developers.

In the mod «Great War: Fight for Baltic» you will take part in battles for Baltic on the party of the USSR. You will be at war on the Soviet submarines of various types against Germany. The submarine war on Baltic was very dynamical! This war went basically in narrow passages and gulfs. Small depths. There is no place to disappear. The opponent is very strong. All the water area of Baltic is mined. You should make improbable efforts, cunning and bravery to survive and carry out the fighting task.

In this submarine war you will be surrounded the Soviet seamen-submariners. Your fighting crew. Round you there will be sounds and «mechanical» space of the Soviet submarine. That you have completely felt «Effect of Presence» at the Soviet submarine:

Mod «Poul-sound: The Soviet Crew for SH IV» is created.

The submarine crew communicates, speaks and swears in Russian, certainly.
All vocal commands and orders of log officers ChE, WaO, NaO, SoM, RaM accompany corresponding sounds of mechanisms, engines
hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and also external sounds round a submarine.

I have tried, as it is possible more precisely and more really, to transfer sound space in the Soviet submarine.
All is made according to sources:

- «КОРАБЕЛЬНЫЙ УСТАВ ВМФ СССР» («The SHIP CHARTER of the Navy of the USSR»).

- «КОМАНДНЫЕ СЛОВА» (The appendix to the Ship Charter of the Navy of the USSR «Command words»)

- «The TABLE of SOUND SIGNALS» (from that ship charter).

And also real sounds of the Soviet submarine which accompany all basic maneuvers and actions of crew of a submarine.
I will not list them. Because it practically everything that sounds in SH IV (sounds and is accompanied by vocal commands).

Having included a record player you will hear a typical radio-aether of the Soviet radio of those years. Fragments from Stalin's speeches, and also speeches of heads of Communist party - Klima Voroshilov, Michael Kalinin, Molotov. Music and songs which were very popular in Soviet Union during that epoch (unique ancient records). Call signs of the Soviet radio and the legendary announcer - Levitan.

Simply use the program JSGME

But it will be better, if you replace a folder "Speech" from initial SH IV, a folder "Speech" from mod «Poul-sound: The Soviet Crew for SH IV». Because the size of a file - very big. But it is not important. As to you it will be convenient. In any case - all will work. It simply council.

I have spent a lot of time for this work. But the most important thing is real sounds and real atmosphere in the Soviet submarine. Certainly crew voices are actors. But I have forced them to be submariners.

So the Soviet submarine "speaks". In a reality. But in the past.

Mod SH IV had an initial error. Orders ChE: «Ahead One Third» and ChE: «Ahead Slow» have been confused among themselves. Correction of this error for mod "The Soviet Grew":

The complete official name of this fleet: "The Baltic naval Fleet of the Red Banner"
(Except it the USSR had: the Black Sea fleet, Pacific fleet and Northern fleet)

The sound pack is an enormous atmosphere booster! Dont speak russki but all in all I feel aboard a soviet sub.
Many nice effects, nice new feel to the game. Specially like the sound of "hollowness" of the sub when someone shouts commands...
Those mines in the baltic are a real killer too...
