range without active sonar / periscope
Hello Guys,
im new here and in playing naval simulation. i got dw now for 3 days and i want to know, if theres any possibility to get the range of a target without the active sonar or the periscope? especialy the range of an submarine, because you cant get it with the stadimeter. i hope you understand my question, because i live in germany and my english is very bad... thank u and happy holidays, Jay Cash |
That's what TMA is all about.
Is there a German version of the manual? I'd hope so, since there is a german version of DW. That's where I'd start. I also recommend Timmy G's TACMAN (see the TMA chapter and the separate TMA pdf). It's in English, but it has some pretty good diagrams that help explain what's being said. |
Molon Labe, you're quite modest!
Jay Cash, try Molon Labe's ASW tutorial: http://www.subguru.com/DW_missions/ASW_training.zip Just extract the .mu file into the scenario folder and read the document while playing. |
Thanks for ur fast answers...
I will try the tutorials. Ive searched the web for a german manual but i didnt find anything. even in the german version of dw there is only an english manual. |
