I think it has more to do with the lighting.

His face blends too much with the background.

I would encourage him to try the same experiment again, only this time, place a majority of the lighting BEHIND the camera, not in front of it.

Just read a news article on this very subject.

the above statement is pretty much the exact recommendation that HP made in their official statement.

on a side note: the individuals in the video claim they simply thought it was funny... they did not intend to play the racism card... they simply thought it was hilarious.

I thought it was funny too and absolutly took it that way.

I'm sure the couple knew they could make it work but the mere fact they could make it not work was you tube worth. Rest is history ;)
