Firefox Problem
Ive been having problems with firefox that are really starting to get on my nerves. The first is if I hit the ' key, it'll bring up the quick find toolbar on the bottom of screen. This is annoying when I'm trying to type I'm or I'll and all I get is I and then firefox trying to find ll or m.
The other problem is from time to time I can't copy from firefox. Even simple text can't be copied. If I open the same site in IE I have no problem copying said text and then pasting it into firefox. Now this issues aren't always prominent but they do keep sprouting up. Anyone know why? The inability to copy usually happens when I have two or more tabs open. |
I don't use it - but are you using some weird beta? I would uninstall/reinstall.

Its not a beta. It is also doing it again.
I guess Ill try a reinstall later today. |
Hi Spike, certainly I have the same shortcut key " ' " to bring up the "Quick Find" bar but only momentarily and not if I'm typing in a text field like typing here in a "Reply to Thread" post! I'm using FF 2.0.0.4:yep:

Hmm, thought I'd post this here. I just downloaded 3.6 of Moz Firefox and now keep getting these weird search results with Google Images. Most of the time it doesn't find any images with a simple search word such as "cat" or "dog" unless I keep hitting the search button like, five or six times. Then on the fifth or sixth time it all of sudden works and finds the images.
Other browsers (exploder, google chrome, opera) are working fine. Wat gives? |
