Warship Combat: Navies at War....

I am surprised I have not seen anyone mention NWS's game Warship Combat: Navies at War (WC-NAW)! For those interested in Naval warfare of the 1890's-1950's, this game is excellent. I had a hankering for some surface fleet combat and began looking around...sadly there is not much there :(
I looked at the only other game in town that I could find, Jutland/Distant Guns and almost pulled the trigger on it but I felt like I was battling the interface as much as maneuvering my ships...I am sure I would get used to it over time...but anyway... On a lark I gave WC-NAW a try in spite of seeing the screen shots of what looked like an archaic interface and "3d" view. It got good buzz in the wargamer forums and usenet.
WC-NAW is really, really good and is getting better with the regular updates NWS is pumping out. If any of you are looking for a purely surface fleet combat sim, I highly, highly recommend it.

Any other WC-NAW players on these forums?

Thanks for your opinion. I'm thinking of buying as soon as I can. I also like the low system requirements. Are the sounds pretty decent? IMO sounds add alot to the immersion.

Sounds are not bad...but limited, the incoming shell sounds and torpedo launch sounds are good, other than that there is an ambient ocean sound (that can be adjusted between off, low, medium, high) but it is fairly is a short clip that is kinda repetitive. There is in game music but currently it is broken (which is fine by me as I generally turn music off). The devs are very receptive to suggestions and complaints on their forums, if you have ideas on improving the game sounds.

Sounds good enough for me, especially if the gameplay is good. Thanks.
