GWX 3.0 and Starforce......HELP!!
 

It's been so long since I had to reinstall SH3. I followed the GWX 3.0 installation instructions and it appears to have installed correctly however....
Everytime I click on the SH3 icon to start I get the "protection software has been installed, reboot" crap. I ran the Starforce 'cleaner' but it hasn't helped. I know there's a method/software to get around this I just can't remember what's required, can someone help me out please?

see this thread http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=158567 (link in 2nd post), you probably need to update the starforce drivers, if you use the cleaner/removal program the game will just reinstall the older non compatible starforce driver when you try to run it.

I'm using XP so no Windows 7 issues. I found my original Starforce Removal/no DVD program for SHIII 1.4b and it worked like a charm. I'm now enjoying GWX 3.0 hassle-free.
