DD OHv3 Widscreen Fix - Release!
Hello all,
THE OLC FIX IS ON MY PAGE NOW! :) I really loved Rubini's widescreen mod, and DD's OH mod, sooo (with help from DD!) I made this combi. Now, your hatch will open up in all its widescreen non-smushed glory! All of the 3d views are in widescreen mods, but tga views (IE periscope, UZO, bonoculars, etc.) are still smushed a bit. Really, I can't take much credit for this, DD told me what to edit, Cheapskate hooked me up with SH3 editor, and Rubini did all the widescreen stuff. I jst did the grunt work and put them together. Infact, I'm sure other people have done this before for themselves, but I've never seen a release, so I'll save everyone some time. Download Here Good Hunting, and hope ya' like it! :salute: U-48KM PS: I'm a real amuature at modding, and what I have released in th past has been pretty *couch *couch - flawed. BUT, this works great! (IE My periscope mod, thanks Markman for brining this up) EDIT: For the time being, please remove the commands.en file from the OLC fix as this will mess with the OLC mod and not function properly (see a few posts down) - But, since a new widescreen mod has been released, I have decided to concentrate my efforts on this instead. |
I assume this still only works for nvidia cards?:hmmm:
|
Well, maybe not. I have a nvidia, and thats what it was tested on, so I really don;t know. I know Rubini's mod would only work on nvidia, but, like I said, all I did was put the old values into OH cameras.dat, so it may work on other cards. But I really don;t know.

Hi.
I've been hoping someone would post a fix for the WS mod.. I haven't been able to figure out how to make it work right myself. I still have the same problem with the periscopes though.... http://www.filefront.com/14998231/atkscope.JPG/http://img402.imageshack.us/i/atkscope.jpg/http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/6863/atkscope.jpg http://img690.imageshack.us/i/obscope.jpg/ http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/5214/obscope.jpg You can see the extra vertical lines and the 0 degree bearing line is not aligned with the sub's bow. The view is also cut off on the right. And although the UZO looks better, it's still got the extra vertical lines. I can't tell if it's aligned because I can't see the bow, but at least the view is not cut off on the right like the scopes are. http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/2299/uzo.jpg If anyone can figure this out it would much appreciated. problem with fix for OLC
I have a problem when I install the fix for OLC/Widescreen titled U-48KMOH+WSFixfor OLC.rar -- The periscope and uzo views are corrected, but when I press shift-or ctrl-H, the observation scope starts repeatedly rising instead of the hatch open/closing. The other commands (ctrl/shft V and O) do nothing when pressed and I also cannot access the radio room by pressing F9. Any idea how to fix this problem? here is my activated mods list:
Hi Res mod activated DasBootClothes Don76-OffiziersmützeHATS TMT v2 Poul-Sound mod GWX2.1 Torpedo damage Final ver2.0 Thomsen's No Instant DeathScreen Mod V1.3 OLC 'Gold' MkII ~ Option 1 ~ Environment and GUI OLC 'Gold' MkII ~ MkIId Update (Enable After MkIIc) DD_OH_V3.09_20091209162038 DD_OH_V3.09_Fix_for_OLC_GUI_001 DD_OH_V3.09_Fix_for_Anvart_FM30_UpDown WideScreen_SH3_V1 U-48KMOH+WSFixfor OLC Thanks in advance. UPDATE: After looking into the files in the mod folder, I noticed there is a commands_en.cfg -- I removed that file and now the commands work when I press them, with all the mods running. But why was that in there originally?? |
How to download the fix? Download link to mediafire does not work for me. plz help
