SH4 VS Fraps
 

I dont know if this is the right place to post this but i searched and couldnt find any help, my problem is fraps not recording from SH4, any ideas?

None! I record all my videos with FRAPS.

got it working by reinstalling fraps :)

I have a follow-up question on using SH4 and Fraps -

What key do you designate for what and how?

Since both Fraps and SH4 use the F9 key as a default one, which change is best?

The first thing you should check is what keystrokes are used by the MODs you are using.
Then to change the "Video Capture Hotkey" for a Movie, go to the movie tab, click in the box and press the key you want to use. If you want ALT-R, then hold down Alt and Press r and you will see "Alt-R" in the box. That is the record key. To stop recording press the key or key combination again. If you have the 'free' Fraps it will stop after 30 seconds (I think that is the time limit)

For screenshots do the same thing in the screenshots tab.
