Piracy on the high seas pays off for the locals
Well I can’t find any links to this but on CNN they were playing a skit about how that the pirates have driven off the factory fishing ships, and now the fishing has become rewarding to the local fishermen.
Is this really what it would take to revise the economy so the people could start making money again? If this is true then the piracy was the cause and effect of corporate greed once again being introduced on a community? |
I guess an example of the Law of Unintended Consequences. In this case, a positive one for some people.

Talk about one way to protect the local industry!:arrgh!:

I fear they will still see piracy as being a much more rewarding pastime :-?
