Vendor,

do you guys even want the Åland islands? It's not like they produce much, they are just a kind of tax haven, and place for Finns to get snus.

Finland already has a mandatory military service for all males (well you can go to prison instead if you want to) during peace time. So, that in mind, there wouldnt be many to draft who already havent gone thru the service if war was to break out.

Tho, I'd imagine that those like me, would be drafted for supporting stuff to free up the one's who have gone thru the full service for more important jobs. :hmmm:

More lobby to get Finland fully allied with Sweden and Norway.
Nordic defence cooperation is allready very far developed.
I personally have nothing against making it official, there really is only positives with this.

Only Baltic coutry i would personally pass is Estonia. They take their defence seriously and develop it, others seem to rely only on NATO.

Tough Swedens massive force reductions in the past years limit the assistance it could give.
Swedens strengths are its Air Force and Navy, these units could be deployed quickly and would be of great value.
Army in its present form and strength would probably be deployed mainly in the Lapland and into lesser extent in the Baltics.

You have a clear picture.
