Is there any way to disable bad weather so that I can use my deck gun all the time?

You can also effectively "lock" the weather in good watever status you choose in the scene.dat file, using Silent Editor. Simply change the windspeed change value to zero, and the wind and weather will stay constant :up:

Why should you do that? Your chances of survival from 1941/42 in good wheather conditions will deteriorate fast. There is a mod - see the link of Irish1958 posted - so you can use the gun in storm as well. The deckgun isn't the interesting weapon of the u-boot.

Wheather stays the same for a long period after a reload (72 hours I think). After that the WindSpeedChangeSpeed will be used to throw the dice.
