Chrimbo Bargain
 

Ahoy, just thought i would show you guys a bargain i grabbed off the web earlier today.
As I play SH3 on an Acer Gaming Laptop I purchased last year (decent system for SH3) i decided to empty my garage yesterday and found 2 old pc's in there about 5 and 7 years old, so i decided to build a single system out of them both, specifically for running SH3 into my 42 inch HDTV in the living room and this is what i came up with:-

AMD Athlon Dual Core X2 4400 Processor
4GB RAM
4 x 200GB Hard Drives
2 x DVDRW Drives
8 x USB Slots
Wireless keyboard & Mouse (1 year old)
Windows Xp Home Edition
Nvidia 7800GT Graphics Card
Wireless/Lan Capable

I found SH3 ran ok on my 7800GT card was no where near as good as my laptop graphics so I decided to upgrade to the card listed above at a mere £40, the specs are much better than my current card anyway.
I may even consider running SH4 on my "spare system".
Seeing as I play no other PC games only Sh3 and have done for the last few years (i have a 360 for non simulation games) i thought this was a nice little xmas prezzie to myself.
All i need to do now is choose what supermod to run on my spare system as im already running GWX3 on my laptop which works perfectly.
