What Happend to Timetraveller's Crush Depth
Timetraveller's Crush Depth changer or edit tool I had this tool then I removed it. Now I would like to get it again becuase GWX and Silent hunterIII still never have addressed the depth accuracy. The VIIC/42 has cruise depth of 200m and crush Depth of 400 m and the tool also includes random differences in depths as somtimes will go deeper or not.
I got rid of the tool because I thought GWX would get it correct but not even 3.0 gold has yet. Its a large mistake . All the uboats in sh3 and GWX have the same depth about. So I would like that mod again so I can set all the uboats to the correct depth. Max depth on the original VIIC is 220m and VIIC/42 is 400m so I need to fix all of them ;-) If anyone can find that download link let me know becuase i cannot find it anywere thanks. G'day IVO,
Is this what your seeking :06: The "Mini Tweaker" developed by Timetraveller :hmmm: http://www.sendspace.com/file/i2mhk0 Kind Regards Ven |
Just an FYI, IVO.
The Type VIIC/42 only existed on paper and none were actually built... therefore no effort by the GWX team was ever made to modify it or to promote its use. In SH3 it uses the same code files as the VIIC anyway... so its performance is stuck being identical to the VIIC in-game. |

FYI SH3Cmdr includes the same functionality (inc randomisation) as TT's Crush Depth tool.
Pls keep in mind though that the crush depth figures you see in books are all theoretical (even moreso for the VIIC/42, hehe). They're not to-the-metre accurate as it was kinda hard to find people who survived crush depth to confirm exactly what it was, notwithstanding the many variables (water pressure, damage etc) that would come into play! ;) |

Thanks guys
Thanks all for the help. I got the tool agian, I thought why bother they never really use the type VIIC/42 back then all the funds were used to build more XXI boats but if they are going to have that type then they should have the correct data.
