CTD upon leaving control room
 

Just reinstalled the game and patched it up. I can go to teh map plotting view but any other view it will CTD. Where to begin? I am attempting to install in another location other than program files. I have Vista and i have had to do that on some other game.s

Very strange. Did you have the game installed previous with some mods? Just wondering if there was any files left behind from a previous uninstall.

I believe i did have some mods...it was a version of TM. Is it best to explore hd and look for folders for sh4 or tm?

intel dual cpu e2200 @2.20ghz
the display adaptor (graphics)? is intell g33/g31 express chipset family..i dont know what that means..lol

You need an upgrade, at least to the nVidia 7600GT level to play the game in a way that will bring any satisfaction. That can be done for well under $100 now.

9800gt 1gb cards are only $115

And I'd rate that 9800GT almost overkill for SH4. You would be completely impressed with the performance of that card at any resolution you would want to run. That would be my first choice!:up:
