Just to make sure there isn't a problem, are you seeing friendly ships in harbour and sailing about when you set out for your patrol?

New users may enable the Med and Indian Ocean Campaign files without knowing that they will remove all scripting in the Atlantic. What MODS do you have enabled OP? |
If you are playing the Atlantic portion, sail to AM 52 or BF 17 during the start of the war. Always something coming in in these areas for me.

As Jim would say "Be more aggressive!!!". |
1) Activate the combined campaign mod in JSGME
2) Download and activate from the Subsim download section, Jimbuna's Spy Sat mod: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...do=file&id=157 and use this to get accustomed to the game. "Sink 'em all" |
Just wondering when you have installed GWX3 do you go to JSGME and activate all the installed mods or do you leave them ?
|
Only activate the mods of your choice after you have installed GWX3.0 because:
a) you won't have JSGME to enable your mods with (comes with GWX3.0) b) you won't have the parent mod to enable them in. |
Does GWX3 give map contact updates because I havent seen one at all and I have done loads of patrols :-?
|
you havent activated the special campaign mods, have you? because those remove everything outside their respective areas.
|
Do they because Ive activated every mod that was installed with GWX3 thatll probably be the problem ill deactivate it thanks :D
|
One thing you may want to try is activating mods one at a time. That way if one gives you an problem, you know which one it was and can bypass it. I'm no mod guru by any stretch, but this has helped me get the most out of the mods that my system can handle.

Mods that add new ships can cause a problem, however. |
