interior diving angle
Hi again!
I was wondering, the perspective in the command room does not seem to be correct (on the navigator's side) when diving or surfacing. I read some time ago something about a mod "interior diving angle" that fixes it. Does anyone know where to get it?:06: EDIT: I know GWX3.0 already includes it, but I'd like to try larger values, my boat, when diving, only moves a tiny little bit in the angle. |
You need Diving Duck's open hatch mod. It includes corrections for the diving angles etc. Check out the mod threads.

thanks! Downloaded the Open Hatch Type VII Mod. Love the new textures, but... The diving angle seems to be fixed, but I'd actually like to have a much steeper one. I think in reality, something like 30° would be normal when crashdiving?
|
Probably not. Crash dives normally go to 70 meters, and the boat is already that long. The angles are probably not nearly as steep as we might think.

thanks for the explanations. downloaded DivingDucks excellent mod. Especially the textures are great!
But one strange thing happened after this, btw: When I disabled the Open hatch mod, my angles were "with some chest hair", as Zapp Branigan might say. That is, they were much much larger then before (with GWX3.0 and OLC 1.27). Also my view was fixed to the periscope, i.e. I moved around it! And when I right clicked the LI, his view was centered also around some pole. Will make some screenshots when I have the time. I think I crashed some .cam files doing something wrong? I wanted to combine MANOS optics 6x (only the UZO.tga) with OLC 1.2.7, but I just erased periscope.tga and looked into the cameras.dat of MANOS with S3ditor, without actually doing anything.:06: anyway, everything working fine when i have DivingDuck's mod installed, so whay worry?:D Always use JSGME to enable mods. Don't try to make sense of my post, it is probably incomprehensible... |
diving angle
Hi!
I'd like to change the interior diving angle. What is the name of the file and which value I have to modify? Thanks! |
