Lost Save

Hi Folks,

I have searched and found lots of threads about missing careers and saves that CTD, but nothing like my trouble.

I have just returned to SH3, fresh instal and GWX3 :rock:

Had a great start to my first patrol in the Med, tracked two unescorted Merchants, sank both, sailed away and saved the game.

Just loaded up ready to continue and the career is listed but no saves. There is a save file in the career folder in my docs though. Can I restore this save somehow?

Yes, there is.

Rename the file within My Docs, append an X (or anything) to the end of the file name. It will now show in the Career Saves when in game.

After you have conducted a patrol and saved again, you are free to rename it back to the original.:yeah:
