how to end a mission patrol in carier mode
hi!
i don't no how to end a mission patrol in carier mode? please help me sorry for my english |
Welcome aboard :DL
To finish your patrol you have to dock at your home base. This is usually - BUT NOT ALWAYS - the port you sailed out from. Sometimes when you are out on patrol your base will be relocated. You should get a radio message telling you this. There is an easy way to tell. See the screenshot below. http://img223.imageshack.us/img223/6667/usbases.jpg In this case I could dock at Midway to rearm and refuel. But if I wanted to end my patrol I have to dock at Pearl. Look for the slanted anchor! And do not apologise for your English. It's a hell of a lot better than my Romanian :DL |
that i understand but for example:
when i get the mission on the map apears a yellow star ,"AGENT INSERTION IN OKINAWA ISLAND", i go to that star and the mission end second mision"PATROL OFF HONSU ISLAND" the yallow star apears again but in a diferent place on the map. i go to that star but the mission it's not ending. why?.............that i'm not understand, what i must to do to end the mission"PATROL OFF HONSU ISLAND" |
Some will say, "Stay within 100 nm for 24 hours." Personally, I play it safe and stay within 50 nm of the star until it grays out ... usually within 24 to 48 hours.

I'm running RFB with RSRDC v5. In Nov 1942 I get a patrol off Caroline Islands and no matter how much I stay in the patrol area, the mission doesn't end. I wouldn't want to start the patrol all over again since I sunk 3 Huge European Liners.

If you've stayed in the area for 4 days, and it doesn't show completed, it may be a bug. Just complete your patrol when your ready or when you run out of torpedos. It is more important to sink ships than to complete patrol objectives. I prefer to make a good faith effort to complete the objectives, but if they are foolish, suicidal, or don't make sense, I consider them to have been "garbled in transmition". ;) |
