Some dramatic video of a stricken sailor being airlifted from a nuke boat.

dunno I looked for a story to go with it but all they had was the video link. I will look some more.

Cant seem to find any further story on this than just the raw footage. May be a breaking story will just have to watch for further info.

Kind of strange.

Well it must have been something serious unless this was just a drill.

Here is more on the story but uhhh not much more really.

I presume they arent mentioning the malody out of respect for the sailor.

Maybe he found out there would be women on board.

Security reasons more than likely. If they say they medevac'd Sailor XYZ, from that you can determine what boat he is on, and which crew, and then you have yourself a deployment cycle. :yep:

True but describing the malody would not be such a risk.

Actually it still would be. There could only be so many patients admitted to Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Ore with ailment X on day Y. But of course now that I've said all this his name and boat and patrol cycle will all be released by some retarded PAO from his Squadron or Group.

Well the Coast Guard site mentions the ships name and the location so its not entirely a mystery.

Where was the mention of the boats name? I saw the location mentioned but didn't see a name for the boat.
