Argh my first CTD
Got a message in GWX 3.0 about dunkerque and headed that way. Using freecam I flew 30 miles to see the fattest fleet ever! about 20 miles out CTD!
First shock:o Then Anger:stare: Then despair:damn: |
And again! :damn::damn::damn::damn::damn:
maybe time for a new install? Oddly enough in 10 patrols Dunkerque is the only issue I have had:nope: |

Could it be travelling so far in free cam to see such a big event on top of your existing game mod spec - too much for your RAM?
You could try sailing in to see if it handles the data better. |
I agree; there is so much going on that the video card might get too hot....CTD
|
Second time it happened I was in map view.
|
I've read somewhere on these forums that CTD's around Dunkirk during the evacuation are quite common, maybe a bug and not anything to do with your computer.
Kinda like if you scroll your map too far over the Soviet Union-boom-CTD.(There might be some irony there. :hmmm:) :) |
It must be. I reloaded the game. Patched it to GWX 3.0 and did not reinstall Any non GWX mods. I could get to the harbor But once I try to sneak in, CTD:damn:
Tried again and made it into harbor and lined up a troop ship and CTD!:damn::damn: I have never had a CTD in this game until Dunkerque. Verdamnt!:nope: But with so many Juicy targets I cant let go! |
Finally, Snuck in and got 67k tons! Try and Try again!
|
Your persistence is commendable. :salute:
We may have to rewrite the history books! :yep: Congratulations. |
