Attack map - icons instead of ships figures
 

Is there any mod or way how to change figures of ships on attack map and have only icons? I'd like to play with "no map update" set off, but I want to have limited informations about ships - now I can see figure and easily can check ship direction and bearing.
I use Assisted plotting mod now, but want to see all detected ships from convoy on attack map, without detailed informations, not only one locked.

The files you need to edit are in

SH3/Data/Sea/Shipname

The file will be named

Shipname_shp.tga

Open this into an editing program and you should see the ship outline. Change it to a little dot or something. The PITA is that you gotta do this for every single unit.
I would maybe just do one of the ships used in the Torpedo Academy, then load it up to make sure it has worked.

OK, thanks for idea, but in which file I can find standard icon of ship (box)? I want to use it for this.

Thinking about it last night, rather than editing the files in your SH3 folder it would be better if you made it a mod that you could enable and disable with JSGME.
