ARGH!!!!!

Today, instead of getting things done on my days off (playing SH3 etc), I find myself re-installing EVERYTHING on my comp. This is due to Windows having what could be best described as a hissy fit, and gave up on me:wah:.
Until now it has been working perfectly - no problems, just my luck:damn:

Note to self - learn how to use Linux

PCs (ie Windows) always crash on your day of, especially if you were planning to do something fun. :nope:

They can smell your anticipation. :shifty:

Panic over - all fixed now and fully working:woot:

Get a copy of Norton Ghost or similar package, IMHO this is a 100% must!:yep:

Make weekly offerings to the Gods of Software and you shall be spared this.

Will be doing until I get a new PC (which I will be building myself).

Dual boot Linux, it makes me feel warm and safe inside. Even if my Windows partition gets hosed I will still have a functioning desktop. Linux isn't much good for gaming, but does everything else very well.

However, if the hard drive dumps I'm done either way. I guess I'd have to get by on an iPod Touch if that happens...

Edit: and nothing is sexier than a Unix(like) terminal.
