im looking for the best user friendly completely free 3d image utility for modding sh4 (something to mod and create ships with)

i want to link to it in the mod list thread as a good resource tool for new modders to use to mod the game.

i know the good ones you need to pay for but there must be some ones out there for free that will do the job pretty well and thats what im loking to find.

Misfit Model 3d.

this program took me about 3 days to learn and I was off creating stuff, considering the learning curves of everything else, this is incredibly fast.

misfit model 3d if you want something easy to use.

Blender
if you want good functionality. Blender can do pretty much anything you can think of, but its GUI takes some time to get used to...

yes i just put blender in last night, and it is very neat, but it will take some time to get used to it. Especially since i'm new to this, but i LOVE skinning boats, I just can't help it. It's like making a model when ur a kid except this model gets to blow stuff up. This game has become my new vice, and skinning is my vice within a vice.

if this is your first time 3d modeling I recommend you use misfit model 3d first. Blender is really very hard to work with, especially if you don't know much about 3d modeling yet while mm3d is quite easy to use.
