Disabling the underwater direction indicator?
 

Greetings!

I'm looking for a way to disable the direction indicator which appears in the free cam mode when you submerge the boat. I did a brief search, but found nothing mentioned about this. For most people I'm sure this is a non-issue, but when filming a movie it totally kills the shot. If there is a way to disable the direction indicator could someone kindly point me in the right direction?

I've never seen a direction indicator on any free cam, although I'd like one if I could turn it on and off.

If you're talking about the yellow sub marker, delete the UMark.dds in the data/misc. file.

I guess he means the orange compass floating on the water surface when submerged;)
Easiest way to get rid of it is to replace Data\Misc\UMark.dds with a dummy.

Remove/delete/rename

There's a keyboard shortcut to turn the marker on and off, but since I never see the marker, I don't know what it is!:har:

Was so happy when the mods took this silly thing away, always drove me nuts in stock.
