Carl Sagan/Stephen Hawking Tribute

I think Carl Sagan would have loved this. I couldn't think of a more beautiful and touching tribute:

This tune is so catchy that I've been singing it all day. :DL

Thats 'autotuning' its all the rage right now. Cher did it first in some song about 4 years ago now its 'chic'.

It was a interesting piece worth watching.

Using Antares Autotune is the only way to get a voice that's not singing sound like it's singing.

I didn't find it distasteful at all. I thought it did a great job of capturing Sagan and Hawking's fascination with the universe actually.

being enrolled in astronomy, my professor would love this!

I must admit to finding it a little 'strange'

I think both of them would have liked it. I did. I thought it was original and it takes a special talent to create something like this. Everyone keeps talking about the music, read the lyrics. True words from great men of science.

I know I'll get slammed for this but, I always liked Cher. She had a unique and powerful voice, quite talented. She hadn't released any new music for a while, so the first time I head this song I thought she lost her voice and was going to hide behind a synthesizer. When the second verse started...., I was glad she proved me wrong.

I love how he picked some of Carl Sagan's most poetic quotes. He was incredibly artistic, creative, and artistic with a lot of the things he wrote and said. He fully believed in the positives of humanity, that we would eventually overcome our differences and problems, and venture out into the stars. All his writings have this positive spin. He was one of my favorite science writers.

I never considered that Antares Autotune would be used for stuff like this ! Go creative people ! I always considered using it in music with vocalists as cheating, but using it to make non musical speaking into vocals, that's pretty darn cool.

Yea... watched it again and I have to agree.
