Neal's Diary

Dear Diary,

We just had the 2009 subsim meet. It went pretty well. I wish I hadn't got my big ass stuck in the conning tower of the Nautilus though. Even worse, someone took a picture of me while I was stuck there.....lucky they couldn't see Dan and Mihai rubbing Mike's bike oil on my ass to try and free me. Ah, happy days. Some guys would pay a lot of money for that!

We're on the run up to the release of Silent Hunter V. I wonder how many morons I'll have to put in the Brig this year? And what was Terry thinking by posting that people might want to wait and buy the game cheaper later? I'll beat his ass when I see him. Better yet, I'll have John Channing turn up at his house in his Dominatrix outfit......Come to think of it, lucky John wasn't on the Nautilus.

Do I need to upgrade my computer for SHV? Nah, PentiumII and 64MB of system RAM should be fine. It's only 12 years old for God sake....people must think I'm made of money because I have a nice house and 47 servers.

The Moderators seem to be doing OK....I'm not sure who that Dead Poet guy is, but if he wants to think he's a Moderator, that's fine with me. He's Canadian anyway.

Right. Busy day tomorrow. I know I'm doing something, I just can't remember what it is. It'll come to me.

Sleep.

Here

Hi Kev,

It was just meant as a bit of fun with the guys I know here and who know my sense of humor. I thought you, Neal, John, Dan and Mihai would enjoy it.

That picture of Neal in the conning tower....it just looks like someone could actually get stuck there, and that presented a funny mental image to me of people trying to free him from beneath.

I truly meant no offense to anyone though, and if others are in any way offended or confused by the post, or misunderstood it as being in any way disrespectful to you, Neal etc, please just delete the post.

Cheers, Kev. :)

No worries Kev. I certainly took it in the spirit it was meant.

Now... if you would just step over here into this small, dark room. This shouldn't take long...

Actually, Neal got out/in ok. It was Horsa who had some trouble getting out (getting in is always easier), but no worries, no one's gonna be stuck there forever. :DL
