Its like an endless informercial

"He's turning the presidency into an infomercial," warned former White House speechwriter Matt Latimer. "It's not just damaging to the White House. It will also ultimately hurt President Obama's image as a fresh, non-Washington leader."
Some thoughts on the administration's 'use' of the media.

Personally I think he is taking it a little to far.

AVGWarhawk 09-21-09 09:55 AM

He had used the media effectivly to get to the White House. Worked then and I guess he figures it will work now.

snubbed fox news though.

a true leader addresses ALL of the nation... not HALF of it.

shame.

guess he was scared.:nope:

true cowardice

Does this mean you believe FOX has 50% of the audiance? How can that be?

GoldenRivet 09-21-09 05:34 PM

no... and i thought it would be a matter of time before that was said.

what i mean is that fox carries a large number of conservative "right" side of the aisle viewers.

why is it that Obama doenst wish to talk to the "right" half of this nation.

the Dems have repeatedly snubbed fox news.

do they think Fox News Viewers dont matter?

like it or not the news in America is no longer unbiased... and Obama interviewed predominately with the carriers that have been pro "left" in the past.

i guess... as a right sider - and as a fox news viewer - the president and most other democrats just doesnt care to address me and my "friends".

Leader gives opposition cold shoulder: shock-horror.

Fincuan 09-21-09 06:23 PM

Opposition tries to make an issue out of it, even bigger shock horror :O:

mookiemookie 09-21-09 06:25 PM

The right's collective heads exploded when Obama stated that he dared to *gasp* engage in any kind of diplomacy short of nuclear war with Iran, they said it would legitamize Ahmindidnmiminimijad's heinous statements and hateful rhetoric. So now when Obama gives Fox News the cold shoulder because doing otherwise would legitimize their heinous statements and hateful rhetoric, he's a coward.

I guess Fox News shouldn't feel too bad. He's not granting Mad Magazine and The Onion any interviews either and they both have the same journalistic integrity and attention to detail as Fox.

Don't cry when the kid you've been bullying for months doesn't invite you to his birthday party.

It's a pity really, can you imagine if he had gone on with O'Reilly.
That would have been hilarious
