Can I still eat this?
I got a 400g UNOPENED thingy of minced meat in my fridge. The best before date (or last usable date in this case) was the 15th. So... can I still use it? :-?

Yes, I will properly dispose of it for you.:D But only if you send beer with it.

Slow news day? :haha:

It should be perfectly ok, most best before dates are extremely conservative for companies to avoid liability.

I see no real reason why not. I've eaten worse :03:

Normally food is good about a month after the last use date. However, if the meat is moving and bubbling when you open the package I do not recommend eating it.
I remember once we had a package of moist dog food. The package had a small pin whole. After about 3 days of having it my wife said she smelled something awful(it was not me). We found the package under the sink were we leave the dog food. Christ, it was swollen and like breathing. The smell was just nasty. The worst smell I have ever encountered. NASTY ! |
