Mod question:bodies in water and flying off ships when hit
Are there any mods that work with TMO 1.7 that adds bodies flying off ships when struck by torpedos and bodies floating in water after an attack.Hate to be morbid but think it would add to the sim.Esp say a larger troopship etc.

As one who finds his real-life self helping to pick real bodies out of the local waterways a couple of times a year I avoid these mods like the plague. They add nothing in my opinion but if you can find one, enjoy.

I don't think you are going to find one. Some debate was had here over lifeboats even being in the game. We all know ships don't sail themselves, I, IMHO don't think bodies in the water is a necessity.

re
Well I heard there were bodies in SH 3, I never played it so wouldnt know.Just curious if it was out there for SH 4

In Pacific Enviroment 4(PE4) option #4 adds bodies in the water. No flying bodies though.

In one of the mods. When you sail past the sailor in the water he yells "Help Me".
Honestly. |

Try Pacific Environment, option 4 (I donīt try it in my actual FOTRSU).

I seem to remember seeing bodies floating after sinking. But I can't remember if it was SH3 or SH4, though. I want to say SH4, as I was playing RSRD at the time. Maybe PE4 mod? |
If the question hasn't been answered after 4875 days, the answer might be a little late.

:haha::haha::haha: I didn't even pay any attention to the original post date. :haha::haha::haha: |
This post (though old) got me to thinking about Racerboy's particle FX stuff ... someone ported hus work over from SH3 to 4..I think it's got one type of dead body and a couple live sailors floating on debris....will try to dig it up, it's over a decade old but works nicely with the supermods. I will of course credit him if I can find and repost.
