RickRolled!
There's a new internet fad, called the Rickroll.
in simple terms, it is a bait and switch, advertise something else, and switch it with Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" for instance, "Hey dude, I got a new Metallica CD." "Sweet!" "Wanna hear it?" "Sure!" and surely enough, it is Rick Astley. while the first guy laughs, the second one realises what he fell for. the second guy is usually the guy everyone else "Rickrolls" using the same trick. :nope: I think it's kinda stupid, to be honest, it's mostly a teen thing, but I'm sure it'll catch on with the adult crowd and prolly even the smaller kid crowd soon enough ("Hey maggie, wanna hear my new Hannah Montana cd?") I wonder how long this is gonna last |
i might be wrong but isnt that a little old?
|
I've scanned your post many a time, and have yet to find a single thing that would merit being called 'new'. But maybe that's just me, still stuck in the 19th century.

Rickrolling began in cavemen times and will continue far into the 24th century:
