Radar won't turn OFF?
 

I have 1.5, and I heard this is a 1.5 thing only, but my radar in my ships won't ever turn off.

I can select in the taskbar for it to be off, but if I ever surface after diving, it'll go right back on again, and more-so, it'll turn back on after an indeterminate amount of time in TC...

Now, I'm not sure if this is a problem, actually. Is it really a bad thing? Should I keep my radar on for the most part anyway, and just turn it off when I'm about to get screwed?

And if I should keep my radar OFF for the most part, how the HELL do I do that? It WON'T STAY OFF. :x

yes, it defaults ON but that's not to say it doesn't turn off.

If you can't turn it off, then theres a problem. But yeah, it'll turn on when you surface again.

Yea, somethings wrong, you should be able to turn it off. You usually have to click both buttons to do so.

um..i only have to hit the HAND icon to turn it off. :o

Do you all have 1.5? As in, the U-boat addon?

If it is your Surface Search Radar you can turn it off. If it is the Air Search Radar you Cannot turn it off.

hell, i got a good one for ya...I can't get my surface search radar to turn on.:nope: The last time i had it was patrol before last. I turned it off right before i got to port so i wouldn't have to keep punching TC up to finish the cruise. next patrol no surface radar....it's installed on the boat, it just wont' come on. I can't turn it on either. Now 2 patrols later, just out of port, it's still on the boat, but I still can't turn it on. anyone heard of this? and if so anyone know a fix, i'd hate to have to continue using this boat with no surface radar. I kinda think the fact that i turned it off then ended patrol had something to do with this. dunno
