Democrats... "Apologize or else !"

Even though the man has already apologized and Obama graciously accepted thats just not enough.

The spectical must be much bigger !

Quote:

House Democratic leaders announced Friday they will discipline Republican Rep. Joe Wilson next week if he does not apologize on the floor of the House for yelling "You lie" at President Obama during Wednesday's joint address to Congress.

Meanwhile donations to Wilson's campaign have exploded

I think the Dem's really need to watch their step here. There sense of immunity and being above the fray is going to lead to big trouble for them.

It was just months ago that liberals were errantly gloating about the end of the Republican Party. With the Democrats having idiots like these in office, it won't be long before conservatives are touting the end of the Democrats.

Sweet drama...

Yet we have the house speaker saying the CIA is a bunch of liars. She got away with it. Just goes to show there is strength in numbers. Let's just hang the guy on the Capitol Mall on a Sunday afternoon and call it a day.

It was a foolish and inappropriate outburst. If he apologized let it go.

Well there actually is on the books a 'rule' that members of congress shall not interrupt the president during his speaches. It has some measures for 'punishment' but I think thats for something a bit more disruptive.

But yes the apology was given and accepted lets move on shall we.. you hear me Ms. Pelosi?

Funny that all that was acceptable in style and method (and even got applauded for being that blunt) if being done by Republicans and with a Republican president in office - becomes unacceptable if being done by non-Republicans, and Republicans having lost elections.

I think political america should stop talking in words, but use binary code exclusively. One party uses 0s only, the other uses 1s only. :88) That way you know immediately who is who.

Different arguments get expressed by either changing the order of one's own number sequence, or by demonising the number of the others.

Wait - I think you have that backwards.

How was it that there was that now infamous photograph taken of Wilson in mid-outburst? Think about it...there's a lot of people in that room, and that picture was taken perfectly centered on him, and perfectly framed, taken at the exact moment he was shouting.

Strange. Ah well. I agree with the move on sentiment. He did an idiotic thing and people are pumping money into both he and his opponents coffers over it. He's apologized, and now it's just becoming a circus sideshow.

To what end to stage such a thing though?

Dunno. Just thought it was either an incredible coincidence that the photo was taken or there was something more to it.

Out of those dozens of cameras the vast majority of them were professional photographers with cameras that can snap off many frames a second.

Not to mention the live cams which are focused on the crowd at all times for security reasons.

Out of those many images its a good bet you can find one framed. Also theres this nifty tool called photo shop that can be used to correct such minor errors.

Sure I can see it now "Okay heres what I'm gonna do.. Im gonna lose my temper at some point and Im going to jump up and call the president a liar". "Ill rub my chin as a signal".

Cmon Mookie really.
