ok i just found out you can Tell people a submarine design and theyll make the submarine. how cool. few Q though. one: where EXACTLY do i go to see aboiut making a submarine 2: can i tell them what i want my sub to look like or do i need pictures 3: How long will it take 4:if you have links please do this. maybe ask is a better word then tell. :up:
1. you can do a search for requested subs, make sure that the one you want isn't being made already.
2.pictures help, but sometimes a description can work just as well
3.as long as it takes to get right, depending on how detailed it is, I just made a sub, it sucks but it works and it took about 6 hours to build and import into the game.

well i found and downloaded like 20 mods so.....but i want beteer mods! :9 but i dont wanna install supermods

If you dont like them , make your own , stop spamming and stop being ungrateful about the mods made :nope:

you dont have to Be so critical about me not liking some of the mods. and for me to make a mod is like a grease monkey to work on a rocket ship. i cat program anything. cant even use console. but i know how to work a computer kinda. but the mods arent all that great. yes theres some pretty good ones but theres not enough. so little mods to download on this site for sH4

The best mods are the Supermods. A Supermod basically takes many smaller mods together and tweaks them so they all work smoothly without conflicts....so instead of running 20 smaller mods that conflict, why not run a supermod that combines them all without possible conflict. Still, you can add the right smaller mods to a supermod if you know what you're doing.

Not enough mod's...you look at the mega mod page..about 30 pages of different mods for different setups....just how many would be enough...sorry games not potato chips.

You say you know nothing about mods, then say we don't have many good ones....and won' t even load a supermod....

Why not load a supermod...learn to play it for awhile then maybe add some smaller ones.

Sorry but is this a troll or are you as silly as you appear? All of the moders on here started because they didn't like something and wanted to change it. In my case I didn't like the lack of damage model for the playble surface ships. People said it couldnt be done .... after many hours of hard work a rudimentry (compared to polyfillers latest marvells) but working damage model was achived for the Yamato.
If you dont think the mod are all that great thats fine , but if you want an improvement be prepared to get your hands "dirty" and take a dive in the deepend. Theres are litterally 10's maybe 100's of people on here who can help , there are tutorials and other such aids to help you land on your feet modding wise.
In the end if you cant be bothered to do something yourself why should some one else who doesnt have the intrest in it you do bother to do it. :nope::nope::nope::nope::nope::nope::nope::nope::n ope::nope::nope::nope::nope::nope::nope::nope::nop e::nope::nope::nope::nope::nope:

Erm - I just counted 328 files in the downloads section of SH4 (plus god knows how many for the other games supported by this FREE site).

Sorry, but to dismiss what must be thousands of man hours of work, offered to us for free by people who do it just for the love of the game, with the throwaway line 'but the mods aren't all that great', well - that's gonna put peoples backs up isn't it?

So, you cannot do anything computerwise yourself - BUT - you feel free to belittle the work of talented others. Work that you admit you could not even attempt. :haha: Do you see now how that may draw a critical response?

I'm guessing the answer is no and your posts are more evidence of the theraputic school system at work; building undeserved self esteem for 30+ years. :nope:
