My cat does not take kindly to her kind round these parts.

We had a Calico, she was a lovely cat and quite personable. She had this thing about "Must be in lap ! Must be in lap" and would sit there and stare at you, occasionally lifting a paw to try to get in your lap.

Of course you finally subcomb to her relentless ploy and allow her in your lap.

You would pet her for a few moments but no were further back than the middle of her back. If you went further back than that the growl would start. Even then if you used the 'proper petting procedure' she would still growl after a few minutes "Im over it" and hop down by the most convienent route (to her) which usually involved a claw to the lap or groin :oops:

After a few minutes the "must be in lap" would kick in and the cycle would start over. :haha:

She should try that on my cat,i'd give her 3 seconds before she moves in for the kill:rotfl::rotfl:

1 second with the breast stroke:haha:

She only allowes me to touch her,for instance when i rub her back she will stretch out and push away my hand,very carefully cause she knows i'm the boss around these parts,and i dont take kindly to cats attacking me..

Other times she just demands my attention,by standing against my legs,and putting her tail around it..and i give her a gentle petting for a second or two,thats usually enough for her and she will leave..

And i can never get her on my lap,so i stopped trying she just hates it.Fun thing with her is she plays all the time,with anything she can find,usualy feathers she takes in the house from the garden,and she starts miawing really loud when she takes it inside...probably proud of her capture or something like that,when i first had her she preffered mice over feathers,living and dead ones:-?

But my old cat was like the black one she has,allways in for a cuddle or 2,i guess he thought he was a dog or something cause he shared simular qualities,like calling his name and actually coming..and he loved water.He also liked dogs alot..

LOL I watched this again and man that lady is just wack ! :rotfl:

We used to have a cat who used to suck on my shirt, thought I was his mum or something. Weird. It was a male cat with one of it's tooth sticking out of it's mouth, a real brawler otherwise.

More of a dog person myself.
