Question about borderguards and rocks
 

Just read the austria thread and something that Skybird said (the rock thing) got me thinking.

Let's say, I'm standing on the Finnish-Russian border and I see a russian borderguard walking by. Propably taken a few beers, I get the amazing idea of picking a rock and throwing it at him.

So, my question is; What could the borderguard do in that situation? :hmmm:

Firing a Russian round into Finnish territory, assuming he's only slightly less pissed than you? :hmmm:

Shoot you and laugh?

Well its almost autumn, sounds like the perfect time for Russia to invade Finland. :up:

Call your mum?

Put a couple of rounds in you then drag your dead butt onto Russian soil and claim you were trying to escape. :DL

I mean what can he do as a borderguard and not break any international laws etc.

And we are all telling you that it's more about what he would do, rather
than what he can do. What he can do is irrelevant.

What law has he broken if there aren't any witnesses and, you have a hole in your knoggin and he walks awat fast ? :haha:

It would probably sound like this in his report;

"I was guarding the border and I saw a rock heading towards me. I quickly fired a shot at the rock and unfortunately I missed. My bullet continued on to the other side of the border and hit a ferret in the nuts."

This problem of illegal alien rocks trying to cross the border is getting out of hand...

What I want to know is ?
