My name is Denni and I am an immersion addict:

• I start and end my patrols in my pen at my base
• I enjoy following the escort boat out of the inner harbor
• I spend time on the bridge and ensure my boat can handle the sea conditions and if necessary I will alter course to give my crew a better ride in rough seas to minimize damage and fatigue
• I will go deep to avoid extreme seas and surface only to replenish air and charge batteries, I micro manage my resources
• I talk to my crew (whoops)
• I am aggressive enough to sink tonnage but the safety of my crew and boat is required to fight another day.
• I always pack one or two eels for the trip home where I usually score.
• I always shut down the sim when time for sleep and I go to my bunk aboard my boat and then shut down (usually at depth to avoid imaginary attack) so when I restart my sim patrol fresh and eager I rise up in the control room.
• I always go for the experience and not the Hollywood as the sim gives back much in immersion
• I am an immersion freak. May god have mercy on my wayward soul.

I do alot of those things myself, last patrol lasted for 13.5 real life hours (yesterday/today) and all in one sitting, my wife moaned when she woke up and I was still sitting here. :haha:
