Will SH3 run on this notebook?
 

Hey guys,
a couple of weeks, the graphics card of my old beloved notebook broke down. For that reason, I have to buy a new one and have already decided on the following one: http://www.cyprus-pc.com/cyprus_pc_v...t&prod_id=4523

Now if have a couple of questions:
Does anyone of you know if the GPU is a) supported, and b) fast enough?

The main issues are that some cards are not supported by some games, though they derive from cards that are. I just think that the Mobility Radeon 3470HDdidn't exist at the time SH3 came out, so the hardware specs don't clear it up for me. Also, it appears that the graphics card has only shared memory (which isn't clearly stated in the link above).

It would be great if I could play SH3 on my own machine (though of course I am supposed to spend my time on something more worthwhile :DL).

I'm currently running SH3 on Vista with an, ahem, 'unofficial no-cd upgrade'. The store at which I want to buy it offers an upgrade option for Windows 7 (can't get worse than Vista, I'm sure).
Could you elaborate on that processor? (Just curious) I don't care too much if the notebook isn't that fast; I mainly need it to write my university stuff.

That's why I have SH3 on my MacBook 15" Pro. Windows XP Pro with BootCamp (from Apple) it runs better then on a Windows machine. Vista works works better on an Apple too! LOL
