fishooks... just when you think its OK..

Having got SH3 GWX3 and all the bells and whistles on again and looking good, I look forward to my second patrol, my first one being an uneventful whizz up and down just to get the crew bedded in.

Whistling cheerfully I go up top to oversee the departure, and what do I find? The sea is milk-white and the sky is not blue but black! Anyone else had this?

I am hoping that it will correct next time the game is loaded into memory, but I don't understand what has caused this - it was fine for the earlier patrol and I had not exited the game since getting back into port (at night in a storm mind). Fed up, up, up!

latest Nvidia
drivers
2x Geforce 7600T PCIE with SLI enabled.... grrr :nope:

Do a search on this forum. I had this problem also in the past.
I thought it had to do with the gwx 16km mod, but don`t
remember it exactly.

Welcome back she-wolf, haven't seen you around for a while together with Penelope Grey

Disable the 16km mod, rollback Commander, then reinstall the 16km mod.

Contact hello again ( big smiles). I stopped playing 'cos I lost me dog, Maisie to cancer. That is her as my Avatar. She was only 6 years old. That was last October. Now I am back, still missing her - but I missed Silent Hunter too!

Java, Jimbuna - thanks, will do. Have to go out tonight (sigh), but will get to it tomorrow. I think you have solved it. :D

Sorry to hear about your dog.

We lost ours a few years ago to lung cancer. She was 8.

Hang in there though. The hurt will pass and you will start feeling the urge to get another puppy......then God help you!:D

It took a couple of years before we got a new demon...I mean puppy:
