new nvidia drivers=strange water?
 

i did two things today, i installed NSM 4.0 and udated the nvidia drivers to 190.38. Now the ocean is all goofed up, i rolled the drivers back to whatever i had before (186.something i think) we'll see how that goes. I'm hoping it's not the NSM, cause i kinda like that mod. we'll see, gonna test it in a few.

What did you load NSM over......Try uninstalling that first before you video drivers. I have the new drivers and no problems.

nope i got it, it was the drivers, the NSM was loaded after all other mods I use (not many) anyway. Been playing for several hours and everything checks out. NSM is a much appreciated improvement. Werner needs to come back for SHV, that guy has almost single handedly saved my gaming experience with this game. RR has also been a big help to me.

I've learned that different drivers are good for different games. Just because theres a new driver out for your video card doesnt mean you have to get it.
