Hat Mod?
 

I seem to remember a mod that I use to have that gave the sh3 officers a proper "slouched" garrison cap, instead of the brand new, right off the shelf officer's hat they have in the stock sh3. The hat was similar to the hats in Sh4 uboat missions, except it had the proper badge...

or just leave the emblems out which is what I do...the without emblem model seems a bit higher-res.

However I do recommend that you give A6's site a visit. There's a lot of interesting things on there. :up:

Do you know of any new models of the Bordmütze (sidecap)? The SH3 version is too small, not tilted as it should be, and not high enough at the front. It looks more like a Russian service cap than anything that would have been worn in the KM. The SH4 version on the other hand is much too big and looks more like turban from some angles.

Maybe Testpilot has something in mind - or is he still not talking to anyone on the German forum? :rotfl:

Many thanks for the new sidecap link A6 :yeah: It certainly is far crisper than the old one and I'll certainly use it. Still needs to be tilted down over the right eye to look right tho.

Shame about Testpilot quitting. I gathered he had some sort of disagreement with the community but my German isn't good enough to understand why. He did some nice aircraft models - the new Ju52/Mausi pack looks particularly impressive. Hopefully he will come back someday.

I'm not surprised. A total misinterpretation on my part :oops: Basic tourist level linguistic knowledge doesn't help much when visiting foreign language forums!! Next time I visit Ubi Foren I'll do what I do when visiting Sukhoi Ru......just look at the pictures :DL

Yes, I did see your aircraft download section and picked up some from there. I must now have every plane available for SH3. Except one.....the Fieseler Storch which was around for a while in late 2006.
If you know anywhere I can get this, I'd be very much obliged.
