[TEC]SHIV Mission Editor.....Can It Be Modded

I've been wondering this for awhile now and thought I'd ask the question. I work with the Mission Editor quite a bit and have wondered many times if the ME could be modded to give people a wider scope of options to use when making custom missions. Some examples would be;

1. Changing the loadouts on torpedoes whether it be a mixed load, full load or whatever.

2. Being able to pick a certain name of a submarine to use on a particular mission.

3. Being able to assign certain tasks to airplanes in a custom mission such as patrolling, escorting a task force or convoy or provide ASW.

These are just a few examples. The ME in SH1 ws so much more versatile than the ME in SHIV. So, can the ME in SHIV be modded at all to add to what we can do with it.

Since the program is an .exe I certainly wouldn't know how to do it.

All I can say is that you know more about these things than I do. So like you say the answer is no. Thanks for taking the time to answer my question, Peabody. :yeah:
