firstly ...Neal....and other moderators..sorry if you have to move this....i'm looking for a quick answer from friends here:03::03::03:

after losing everything to disc failure, ive restarted gwx 3.0 ,and windows.... (notice what comes first in my opinion!!!:up:)...... but one thing p@^^*g me off is my browser!!!

before on subsim..i logged on and everything o.k


now...i have to log on 4 or 5 times to get in...then every page/forum/post i look at has to be refreshed everytime i look at it:damn::damn::damn:

...infuriating!!!....i dont know whats new post's... and whats not:wah::wah:

im running the latest Internet Explorer, what do i do to get my old setup...where everything wad good and the world was a happier place????

Browers acting strange, reinstall; or Service Packs, 1 2 3/Windows updates not up.

Second thought, You useing Windows XP
 
Windows creates Temp files, might reinstall windows ??

Thought #3 have you Defraged after reformatting drive ???

install FF or chrome, superior cookie handline imo.

Check your browser settings for enabled cookies and refreshing page on each view.

I think that about says it all. Try Firefox 3.5.2 and avoid I.E. like the plague.

Install Firefox make it your default browser. Use IE only for Windows update. :yep:

It's free and fast. It will import all your IE favorites.

I say install opera, it doesn't suffer from the plague of memory leaks and viruses etc which afflict Firefox and IE. I've used it for years, it's very customisable, stable with a great popup blocker.

Just touching IE makes me feel soiled....
