Is there a good playable Japanese BB?

I am looking for a good playabe Japanese BB to play the Battle of Suriago Straights. Where can I find one. The FUSO BB by Peabody is a test mod and it jammed up my game, so I had to start my career over.

The Battle of Suriago Straights is a single mission, I don't know what that would have to do with your career. What did it do? Did you change any MODs before going back to the Career?

This Yamato has a working damage model and is career playable:

Very fun ship to just "walk" around on. I also recommend Battle of the Sibuyan Sea for some serious BB-BB action. Basically two massive fleets colliding in the Battle of Leyte Gulf.

I merely added a FUSO that you recommended. Then I could not get the saved game file to open. SH4 failed to respond. I deleted the FuSO, deleted the saved campaign, and now SH4 works. That is all I know.

Did you enable the Fuso using JSGME? If you didn't then that is the problem, you have to disable the Fuso MOD before you play a career. I have been using the Fuso for a year and never had any problems with it affecting a career.

it was late last night

I think I disabled the FUSO after SH4 did not respond. I disabled it for sure after the campaign refused to load and SH4 stopped responding. The SH4 campaign that I saved still would not respond so I deactivated all remaining activated mods and reactivated all but the FUSO. All is well now.
