Tonnage record .

:) Hi everyone :)

I ' m in April - may 1943 , in my IXD/2 .
BDU want me down to grid area " EK " ,
but I change my mind , and headed up to Murmansk .
did I regret it :o

NOOOOO !!!!!!!:woot::D

It is my best patrol ever in SH3 + GWX 2.1/3.0 GOLD + SH3Cmndr3.2 + JSGME:yawn:
Believe it or not I sunk over 122000 tons :o:o
the first ship I run into was " HMS " Aquitania , and after that full speed ahead up to Murmansk . Ok , so the question is this :

Do I have the tonnage record or what ??

Thanks:salute:

Can't touch that. I think my highest was ~44k.

Congratz! :salute:

However, nobody can answer your question? How do you play the game?

Example: I use OLC "Gold" MkII, if you try this GUI mod you cannot use the deck gun as in SH3 with GWX. You need an experienced crew to hit targets (only close ones) and it is impossible (in my case) to destroy over 122000 tonnage.

I am happy if my patrol ends with 35000 tons. Higher is in my case almost impossible. :o

Maybe in the future ... because I never reached 1943. I always die in 1942.

Good hunting skipper! :arrgh!:

10 trillion? What he's not telling you is that they were the remnants of my round the world sinking tour of '98. I remember the day I took-out the Forrestal by lugging tins of bully-beef at it (we'd run out of torps months before) while Bernard kept the defences confused with his impromptu mooning exhibition. The flak crew had to work overtime of course, but being out of ammo, they were forced to use spit wads powered with a feed from the O2 cylinders. U.S. govt. hushed it all up, though Fox News were allowed to blame the "mysterious disapperance" of the carrier on the Democrats. After that, removing the rest of the world's fleets was comparatively easy. One day I'll get it all written down, but that'll be dependant on the nice nurses letting me have a sharp pencil, I'm only allowed crayons atm.

No You don't have the Tonnage record.. sorry...

March of 44 as you can plainly see. 456K... I would have broke a million..but alas SH3 would not allow it.

SH3+GWX3.0+SH3 Commander3.2

74% realism.. Have external view, map contacts, weapon officer asst and manual targeting is OFF.

And I will never tell my hunting grounds.. AND NO HARBOR RAIDING AT ALL! Open water only.

I can only say ...Be More Aggressive Herr Kaluen!! :arrgh!:

Actually had eels left but had to return to base due to CTD and game instability.

Those large passenger liners get everywhere.

Melonfish 08-11-09 03:30 AM

pah thats nothing, i once sank the entire combined british, indian, australian, canadian american and french merchant fleets and navy fleets from a single 2cm flak gun round.

na, GWX i'm happy to break 10k! seriously well done :yeah:

I once commanded the Death Star. 6 whole planets, worth 143 thousand million trillion gazillion megasupercalifragilisticexpialidocious tons!

So there!

In SH3, I think my max was eight ships totalling about 25,000 tons.

And that was exceptional. I usually get two or three for a total of 8-12 thousand.

Pthth..do that when you're not in geosynchronous orbit around the planets and don't have to worry about relative motion then I would be impressed :) Oh and no external view!
